Rules that apply to every exam

Scores of 4 or 5 on an AP exam may satisfy one general education learning objective, as determined by the Curriculum and Academic Policy Committee and the College Faculty.
A maximum of one elective course credit (four semester hours) may be awarded for a score of 4 or 5 on most AP exams.
Only one examination's credit is awarded per subject area across AP, IB, and A-level exams.
Economics, history, or politics exams may earn a maximum of two elective course credits (eight semester hours) for two distinct examinations.
Students matriculating as first-year students may receive at most 32 semester hours for work completed before high school graduation, including AP credit.
Transfer credit for the same work is granted only once, even if it appears on multiple credentials.
